Arrest on Warrant
Belleville, On – on 20 March, 2018 police initiated an investigation where a 47 year old Belleville woman reported to have been assaulted by 28 year old Belleville male. Investigation resulted in a warrant being granted for the male. While police were on foot patrol in the core the male was observed and arrested on the outstanding warrant.
The male was released with a court date on 3 May, 2018.
Weapons
Belleville, On- on 31 March, 2018 at 2:52 police responded to a 911 complaint of a 16 year old male with a knife in the Ritchie Street area. The complaint was that the male was accompanied by a group of young males and females and had threatened another group of females.
Investigation led to information that the male with knife had been charged in a previous police investigation which resulted in him being released on conditions. The male with knife was charged with one count of Mischief under $5000.00 and 2 counts of Breach of Undertaking. The male is scheduled to appear in Youth court on 8 May 2018.
Disturbance
Belleville, On – On 31 March, 2018 at 9:48 p.m., police responded to a disturbance at a residence on Moira Street West. It was reported that a male was yelling and swearing within the building. A 42 year old male was arrested and charged under the authority of Liquor License Act.
