Belleville Ontario, - The Belleville Police Service would like to invite the citizens of Belleville to a Town Hall Meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to gather information from the public to set priorities for the Service in the 2019-2021 Community Safety Plan. There will be subject matter experts from the various units within the Service on hand to gather input and answer questions and Chief Gignac will provide an update on the progress of the new police facility. Please join us and ensure that your voice is heard!

Motor vehicle collisions
Belleville, Ontario – On November 15th, 2018, between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., police investigated six motor vehicle collisions.
At 6:08 p.m. officers attended on Dundas Street East at Front Street regarding a two-car collision. One driver was charged with careless driving. There were no injuries.
At 6:32 p.m. officers attended on West Moira Street at Avonlough Road regarding a van in the ditch. A towtruck was required to remove the van from the ditch. There were no injuries; nor were there any charges.
