Belleville, ON - On 14 Aug 2018 at 700 pm Belleville Police responded to a complaint that the parents of a sick child were being accused of fraudulently collecting charitable donations . The accused party was posting statements on social media sites and contacting media outlets alleging that the fundraising effort was fake, when in fact it was not. As a result of the investigation, a 33 yr old Belleville woman, Lisa Bark, was charged with one count of Criminal Harassment. She was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date in September.

Belleville, Ontario – On August 9th 2018 at 11:16 a.m. police received a report of a stolen car. The theft occurred from an east end parking lot between 11:30 p.m. on August 8th and 10:00 a.m. on August 9th. The automobile was plated with Ontario licence plates BTNE-781. It is described as a 2007 grey Chrysler 300. An investigation is continuing. Anyone with information about this theft is asked to please contact investigating officer Cst.
