Residential Break and Enters

From June 2nd, 2018 to June 11th, 2018 Belleville Police have responded to 6 residential break and enters on the west side of the City, specifically on Wright Ave, Kirsten Place, Avondale Road, Hillside St and Sara Court.  The break-in’s occurred at various times throughout the day and early morning hours.

The thieves are stealing small electronics, jewelry, coins, food and alcohol.

Police are asking the public to be aware of and report any suspicious persons, vehicles or activities. 

 

Breach of Bail

Belleville, On – On June 10th, 2018 police were on patrol on Dundas Street West looking for an e-bike that had been reported stolen.  Police observed an e-bike east bound on Dundas Street West.  Investigation resulted in the driver being arrested and charged with 3 counts of breaching bail conditions (from a previous arrest in February 2018 in Belleville) and 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance.  The 26 year old Belleville female will be held for a bail hearing on June 11th, 2018.

 

Liquor License Act

Belleville, On – on June 11th, 2018 at 12:45 a.m., police attended to the area of Grove Street and Pinnacle Street in response to multiple complaints about a suspicious male.  Investigation resulted in a 35 year old Belleville man being arrested for being intoxicated in a public place.

 

Stolen Property

Belleville, On – On June 10th, 2018 police were notified by a resident on Sidney Street that a Black Remington lawn mower was taken from the front of the residence.  The owner reported that the lawn mower required an adjustment and was left on its side near the roadway for a short period of time while they went to get tools.  In the short time it took to return the lawn mower was gone.  If anyone has any information in relation to this lawn mower they are asked to call Belleville Police.
